Paint Finish Unpainted Tabletop Ready Heroic Tabletop Display Finish

Made to order — prepared before dispatch

A mimic doing an impression of a troll, which is either very clever or a serious misjudgement depending on what the party brought. One sculpt. Printed to order in Croatia and supplied unpainted.

Why this piece matters

Give the encounter something to react to.

A miniature enemy changes the energy of a fight. Players read the pose, judge the danger, and instantly understand that the room has become a problem.

Useful for DMs building clearer combat encounters
Adds tension, scale, and personality to the table
Also works as a focused paint-night project

If this product is listed as unpainted, it is also a quiet paint-desk project: prime it, choose the mood, and make it yours.

Troll Mimic Miniature is a high-quality 3D printed fantasy miniature from Vault of Delights, made for tabletop campaigns, painting projects, and display.

Printed miniature, made for the table

This is a physical resin print from Vault of Delights, made for D&D, Pathfinder, tabletop RPGs, fantasy wargaming, display painting, and collector shelves. It ships from Croatia and can now ship to the EU, the US, and selected international destinations.

Finish, painting queue, and timing

Unpainted: printed and prepared for your own hobby project. This is usually the fastest option.
Tabletop Ready: clean colors, readable details, and shading for play. Allow about 1 extra week when the painting queue is active.
Heroic Tabletop: stronger highlights, accents, and character focus. Allow about 2 extra weeks.
Display Finish: centrepiece work for bosses, gifts, and shelves. Allow about 3 extra weeks.

Painting is hand-finished work, so timing depends on the current queue. If you need a figure for a fixed date, contact us before ordering and we will confirm what is realistic.

Scale, resizing, and custom requests

Standard sizing follows the listed product measurements where available. If you choose a custom scale, we review it before printing. Larger scales can require extra resin and time; smaller scales can still need setup and support work.

Shipping from Croatia - US shipping available

Standard international shipping uses Croatian Post where available. US buyers can order again; customs, import duties, taxes, carrier handling, or local fees may apply depending on destination rules and are the buyer's responsibility unless checkout explicitly says otherwise. For safer or faster delivery, contact us before or after ordering and we can quote an insured courier upgrade at cost.

A physical miniature. Choose your preferred finish and check the listing for scale and production details.

The story

Troll Mimic Miniature

A mimic pretending to be a troll is pretending to be something that will also eat you, which the species considers redundant.

The reasoning, such as it is, appears to be commercial. A village that believes it has a troll under the bridge behaves in extremely predictable ways — it stops using the bridge, it sends exactly one party of adventurers, and it pays them in advance. The mimic gets a steady supply of well-armed food that arrives on a schedule and announces itself loudly on the way in.

The one flaw in the plan is that it occasionally attracts an actual troll, and those conversations do not go well.

Two monsters in one model, so pick a side — commit fully to convincing troll hide and let the mimic underneath show only where the sculpt opens.

Sculpted by the studio credited above. Printed in Croatia by Vault of Delights.
