Finish, painting queue, and timing

Unpainted: printed and prepared for your own hobby project. This is usually the fastest option.
Tabletop Ready: clean colors, readable details, and shading for play. Allow about 1 extra week when the painting queue is active.
Heroic Tabletop: stronger highlights, accents, and character focus. Allow about 2 extra weeks.
Display Finish: centrepiece work for bosses, gifts, and shelves. Allow about 3 extra weeks.

The story

Sorcerer Miniature

The sorcerer did not study for this and everyone else in the tower resents it.

Wizards put in decades. A sorcerer wakes up at nineteen able to do a thing that took the person in the next room thirty years, cannot explain how, and cannot teach it — which makes them simultaneously the most gifted and the least useful member of any academic institution. The Order accepts them and does not quite know what to do with them.

The honest ones admit it is not a skill. It is a condition they have learned to aim.

The magic should look like it is coming out of the person — keep the clothing ordinary, put the light source inside the silhouette, and let it spill rather than radiate.
