Halflings are underestimated professionally, and the good ones have built a career on it.

Nobody searches a halfling. Nobody stops one at a gate, nobody follows one across a market, and nobody remembers one being in the room — which is worth more in this line of work than any amount of skill with a lock. The trade is full of people who arrived at it because the world kept handing them the opportunity.

The ones who get caught are almost always the ones who started enjoying being noticed.

Small models need contrast to survive on a busy table — keep the palette tight, the edges crisp, and give the face more work than the scale strictly justifies.
