Finish, painting queue, and timing

Unpainted: printed and prepared for your own hobby project. This is usually the fastest option.
Tabletop Ready: clean colors, readable details, and shading for play. Allow about 1 extra week when the painting queue is active.
Heroic Tabletop: stronger highlights, accents, and character focus. Allow about 2 extra weeks.
Display Finish: centrepiece work for bosses, gifts, and shelves. Allow about 3 extra weeks.

The story

Half-Orc Artificer Miniature

Half-orc artificers are over-represented in the trade, and the reason is not flattering to anybody else.

The guild traditions of every major culture have spent centuries deciding who looks like an engineer, and the half-orcs who went into the work did so mostly by building things themselves, outside any of it, with no apprenticeship and no patron. What that produces is an engineer with no received assumptions — which is a disadvantage for twenty years and an enormous advantage afterwards.

The guilds now recruit from them. The guilds do not discuss why they did not before.

Self-taught should look self-taught — tools that do not match, a workshop apron that was made rather than bought, and hands painted as the most used part of the model.
